COLLECTION AND RECYCLING OF WASTE PAPER

recycling waste paper for the production of thermal insulation from cellulose fibres

ISOGREEN invites you to take part in a programme that encourages responsible resource use, local production and the use of Romanian resources. ISOGREEN Romania focuses on the collection and final recycling of waste paper, transforming, following a careful sorting process of fibre types, waste paper into thermal insulation material.

ISOGREEN Romania concludes collection contracts with companies that generate paper waste, for their final recycling, being authorized by the Ministry of the Environment, Teleorman Environmental Protection Agency, as final recycler. Collection is done at our company’s headquarters in Turnu Măgurele, Sos. Alexandriei, Nr. 4 or at the customer’s premises. Collection from the customer’s premises is made according to assortment and quantity, following a collection order.

ISOGREEN Romania recycles over 1,000 tonnes of paper waste annually!

The importance of recycling

One tonne of recycled paper is equivalent to recycling one newspaper and two white sheets a day for a year.

One tonne of recycled paper equals 20 trees pruned, 3,800 kwh, 32,000L of water saved and 27 kg of pollutants not released into the atmosphere.

One tonne of recycled paper frees up about 2.5m3 of landfill space. It takes a 30-year-old tree to produce 700 paper bags.

Recycling 1 kg of paper helps avoid 900g of CO2 and methane emissions. Recycled paper is considered to be paper in which 50-75 of the fibre content comes from waste/refillable paper.

Recycling only half of the paper used in the world today can cover about 75% of new paper needs.
